Attendance:

Any absentees will have to be fulfilled at a later date. Certificates will only be issued upon completion of 20 hours of class time, 5 hours on a driver simulator, 10 hours in-car training and at least a 70% final mark.

Cancellation Policy:

There will be no refund on the money if the student has already started in-class sessions. To cancel an in-car lesson you must call your instructor or the office 24 hours prior to the appointment otherwise, the student will be charged a $25.00 cancellation fee.

Confidentiality:

International Driving School Inc. will release any information required or requested by MTO (Ministry of Transportation Ontario) or the Insurance Industry.

Payment Policy:

You are required to pay a deposit of $200.00 when attending your first in-class session and also bring your G1 licence. The balance is payable in installments. The remainder is due on your 4th in-car lesson.

Smoking:

Smoking is not permitted inside the building. Breaks offer the opportunity to go outside for a reasonable amount of time.

Usage of the vehicle:

The instructor has the right to refuse the usage of the car for the road test unless he/she feels that the student is not ready. There is an extra charge for the use of the car on the road test. This is not inclusive in the package.

Telephones:

Cell phones are banned during class time.

Textbooks:

International Driving School Inc. distributes text and course material. It is expected that you return texts in the same condition as they were issued. You will be required to reimburse International Driving School Inc. for the lost or damaged items. If anyone wants to buy a Drivers Handbook or Road Worthy please contact someone at the Office.

Achievement:

Certificates will only be issued upon completion of 20 hours of class time, 5 hours of a driver simulator, 10 hours of in-car training and minimum of 70% marks on the final test.
The course must be completed within a 12 month period or the Ministry of Transportation will not issue a certificate.
